Smart Start Homeschooling began in 2022 with a vision to transform early childhood education in Kenya. Founded by Madam Mercy Nyambura, a renowned early childhood specialist, an educational technologist passionate about personalized learning with local and international experience, Smart Start emerged from a simple observation: Kenya’s youngest learners deserved more personalized, flexible, and joyful educational beginnings.
What began as a small initiative quickly gained attention throughout Nairobi, as parents witnessed the remarkable progress of these first students. Today, Smart Start Homeschooling stands as Kenya’s premier homeschooling service dedicated exclusively to early years education, supporting hundreds of families nationwide through both in-person and digital learning programs.
